FAQs
How do I screenshot a tweet?
Copy the post link, paste it into Newsiq X Screenshot, and click Generate Preview. Style the image, then click Download PNG. The image is built from the post link, so you do not need to crop anything.
How do I screenshot Twitter on iPhone, Android, PC, or Mac?
Newsiq X Screenshot runs in your browser, so the steps are the same on every device: copy the post link, paste it, and download the PNG. If you prefer a normal screen capture, use the shortcuts in the quick user guide above.
How do I save a tweet as an image or to my camera roll?
Click Download PNG. Your browser saves the file to its downloads location. On a phone, open the file and use the share option to save it to Photos or your gallery. You can also click Copy and paste the image into a chat or an editor.
How do I copy a tweet as an image?
Click the Copy button under the preview. If your browser blocks image copying, use Download PNG instead.
How do I get a high quality tweet screenshot?
Choose 4K before you download. The export size is measured on the longest edge: 3840 pixels for 4K and 1920 pixels for HD. The preview shows the exact pixel size.
How do I crop a tweet screenshot?
You do not need to. Choose a canvas ratio (Auto, 1:1, 4:5, 16:9, or 9:16) and adjust the padding. The image is already framed the way you set it.
Does X notify you when you screenshot a post?
As far as X's help pages show, X does not list screenshot alerts among its notifications for regular public posts. Newsiq X Screenshot does not take a device screenshot. It reads the public post details from the link and draws the image in your browser. It does not like, repost, or reply to the post.
Can I screenshot a Twitter DM or a private post?
No. The tool needs a public post link in the form x.com/username/status/123456. Direct messages have no public link, so use your device's own screenshot shortcut for those.
Can I capture a full Twitter thread or a post with photos?
Each link creates one image of one post. The card shows the text, author, profile photo, time, and the repost, quote, like, and bookmark counts. Attached photos, videos, quoted posts, and replies are not included. For a thread, paste each post link one by one.
Why is my link not working?
Use a full post link from x.com or twitter.com that includes /status/ and the post ID. Links to profiles, searches, or the home page will not load. Make sure the post is public and has not been deleted.
Can I remove the watermark?
You can make the Newsiq.us watermark lighter with the Watermark opacity slider in the Layout tab (12% to 60%). It cannot be switched off.
Is Newsiq X Screenshot free?
Yes. It is unlimited and free for a limited time. No account is needed.
